11 Sep DIRECTOR OPENING FOR “LIFE IN SLOW MOTION”

Director sought for “Life In Slow Motion” the 30th Play for Resident Playwright Richard Thomas Henle at Manhattan Repertory Theatre.

Life In Slow Motion tells the story of an aging Musician in a “going nowhere” band, and his relations with his younger sister who is supporting him, and his Best Friend who is in the band who is trying to steer him in other directions so they can make money.

SEEKING a director that can work with a large cast (7 overall) and who is open to new ideas. This is a dialogue based story, running time around 80-90 minutes. Also looking for a director that can work with our minimal tight budget and small theatre space and to keep things pretty simple. CAST is already in place and have met once for a table read this past weekend and we will be meeting again this coming weekend. Many of our rehearsals will be in the actual theatre space which as you know is a major plus for blocking etc…

Dates for the shows are: October 28, 29, 30th all shows at 9PM
Tech Rehearsal is October 26th 8-11PM
Dress Rehearsal is October 27th 8-11pm

Rehearsals will be starting Immediately as the Cast is ready to go.

Generally, we rehearse Saturday and Sunday early days usually 10-2pm

On weekdays usually 2-3 days / nights or early afternoons.
