The Johnny Depp Scholarship is annually awarded to one passionate student dedicated to lifelong artistic development and actor training. The winning candidate is selected based on the applicant’s artistic achievements, community leadership, and interest in Lee Strasberg’s work.

Johnny Depp is an international star whose dedication to his craft and the specifics of each moment has yielded some of this generation’s most nuanced and alive performances. His boundless imagination, paired with his incredible devotion to the investigation of human behavior and the resulting specificity of his characters, makes Johnny Depp a model for all actors at the beginning of their careers and a brilliant standard for this scholarship recipient.
